The result of the designers’ work is a blend of refined modernity with the historical elements of the building. The architectural concept is based on the original 17th-century grain granary, which now forms one of the hotel’s main sections. Kazimierz limestone — opoka — was used in the construction, while the structure and décor of the patio were inspired by the architecture of Kazimierz’s historic tenement houses. In the functional basement area, the original 17th-century walls have been preserved.
The property is filled with references to the Vistula River. Boats, once a traditional means of transport, harmonize perfectly with the former function of the granary and its unique location in a bend of the river. In the historic boat situated on the patio, we have created an intimate bar, and beneath the glazed ceiling float stylized, fisherman-style boats.
From the hotel windows, Guests can admire the picturesque panoramas of Kazimierz Dolny and Puławy, as well as the internal patio, the Vistula River flowing beside the hotel, and the surrounding dense forest. The rooms face all four directions of the world.
